Laide Bakare is an actress and producer, known for Mi' ofoworola (2005), Love You Forever (2003), and Mi' ofoworola 2 (2005). The actress is also a mother of three and one of the biggest stars in Nollywood.

Laide Bakare is a popular Nigerian actress, movie producer and entrepreneur known for her brilliant roles in Yoruba movies.

She was born on October 7, 1980 in Lagos. Laide hails from Oyo state in south western Nigeria.

Educational Background

Laide had her primary and secondary education in Lagos respectively.

She later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos and a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, Oyo state.

She has since remained prominent in the Yoruba movie industry.

Acting Career

Laide Bakare made entry into acting through her father who owns a hotel where movie actors used to lodge.

Laide Bakare got married to her lovely husband, Alhaji Atanda Orilowo after her first marriage to Olumide Okufulure which produced a daughter named Simi.

Laide’s marriage to her new husband has produced two boys.

In an interview, Laide revealed that she never got married to her supposed first husband, Olumide Okufulure.
