Rotimi Salami is an actor and producer, known for Omoye (2017), Mentally (2017) and Ofeefe (Mirage) (2019).

Early Life & Background

Rotimi Salami is an award winning Nigerian actor, filmmaker, scriptwriter and MC born on November 30.

Rotimi was born in Surelere Lagos before he moved to Ajangbadi area of the state where he spent most of his life.

His father is a steel construction engineer while his mother is a business woman.

He is the first son in a family of 5 children; two boys and three girls.

He attended St Mary’s Nursery and Primary School in Ajangbadi, Lagos and Abeokuta Grammar School, Abeokuta in Ogun State for his primary and secondary education.

He also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Lagos State University.

He also has Diploma in Film Directing at the New York Film Academy in the United States of America.

Career

Rotimi has a passion and burning desire to become an actor right from his primary school days.

He came through professionally in 2007 where he got his first role in a movie titled “Unknown Revenge”.

Rotimi also got roles in television series “Shangisha Kingdom”, a film by Ola Razak.

He also directed numerous television series of which include “Kuti’s Career Palace” which aired on the major television channels in the country.

He also produced two movies such as “Letter to my Mother” and “Beautiful World”.

Aside acting, Salami is also an entrepreneur, television personality, a set designer and the CEO of Manski Media Concept.
