Omo Akin whose real name is Dare Ijiwole is a Nigerian pop star born on May 23.

Omo Akin was born in Ibadan, South-western part of Nigeria and originally hails from Osun State.

Early Life

He also grew up both in Nigeria and in the UK.

He attended Command Secondary school, Apata Ibadan, African church College fagba agege, Dansol High School Ikeja Lagos and his University in Kinggston University London U.K.

He is a versatile singer with music genres of Afro-Bashment, Afrobeats and Pop.

Career

Omo Akin came through in the Nigerian Music Industry in 2012 with his debut single “Ta Lo Sobe”.

He came to limelight with his hit single “Sisi Maria”.

Ever since he rose to fame, has released numerous songs such as; Borrow borrow make me shine, Ijo Oloti, All the Girls, nubian queen and so on.
