Siyabonga Mkhize popularly known as KLY, is a talented South African singer and songwriter born on January 24, 1994. He is a music artist known for numerous collaborations and albums to his credit.

KLY grew up in KwaZulu-Natal and later moved to Midrand, Johannesburg in 2005.

He is a versatile singer with numerous genres from hip hop to R&B and soul.

He co-wrote Mafikizolo’s hit single “Kucheza” which already boast of over One million streams on YouTube and also “Wagwan” by Gemini Major.

Music Career

KLY started off on the street as a hip hop dancer.

He found love for music with the influence of music stars which include the likes of Drake, Trey Songz, Party Next Door and so on.

KLY became part of Ambitiouz Entertainment record label which saw him released lots of singles such as; I want, Patience and Snapdatshit remix alongside DJ Maphorisa, Patoranking and Emtee.

He came through with his highly anticipated and self titled album “Keep Love Young” in November 2018. The album comprises of 16 solid tracks including Patience and Runners.

KLY drops his project “2minutes2late” EP on August 28, 2020. THE EP features the likes of Lyta and Lp2loose.
