Vanjess is a Nigerian music duo which comprises of two sisters, Ivana Nwokike (born on December 20, 1991) and Jessica Nwokike (born on April 23, 1993). Vanjess are well known for their debut album “Silk Canvas”. Their music style is a blend of contemporary R&B with feel good vibes.

Early Life & Background

Vanjess are not twins; they are two sisters, Ivana Nwokike born on December 20, 1991 and Jessica Nwokike born on April 23, 1993.

They are born in Lagos state, Nigeria and from the Igbo tribe. The duo are based in California.

They spent most of their childhood in Nigeria before moving to La Palma with their mother.

Both Ivana and Jessica went to a performing arts elementary school.

Vanjess started their career uploading cover songs on YouTube.
