Omotoke Abosede Jamiu popularly known as Toke Jamiu is a Nigerian actress and content creator born on October 19. She produced the movie “The Living Ghost” also the CEO of Oct19studios.
Early Life & Career
Toke Jamiu was born as the second child in a family of three children. Her father is a contractor while her mother (late) was a business woman. She was raised by her grandmother.
She studied Accounting at Polytechnic of Ibadan, Oyo State. She also did a course at Segun Ogungbe’s film school, SEGOF.
She came into the Nigerian movie industry in 2016 with acting debut in the Yoruba genre.
She got her first role in the movie “Alamu Olorin” which was written and produced by Kolawole Ajeyemi, the husband of popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham.
She has starred in other movies such as Atupa, Ofin Oluwa, Delilah
She has also worked with other top actors which include the likes of Kenny George, Segun Ogungbe, Bakare Zainab, Azeez Ijaduade.
For her effort, she got nominated for Best Actress in a supporting role alongside the likes of Oyebade Adebimpe, Regina Chukwu, Jaiye Kuti and Mercy Aigbe at the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON Awards) in 2019.
