Chika Okpala widely known as Chief Zebrudaya is a veteran Nigerian cominc actor, producer, comedian, advertising practitioner and television personality.

He was born on the 10th of June 1950 in Onitsha, Anambra State in south eastern Nigeria.

Chika had his primary education in 1964 and secondary education at Prince Memorial High School both in Onitsha, Anambra State in 1972.

After obtaining his first and secondary school certificates respectively, he went to Enugu state Science and Technology, Enugu to have a degree in Mass Communication in 1996. Long before then, Chika had been a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry.

His Career

Chika Okpala began his career over three decades ago, precisely in 1983 when he featured in a TV comedy series “New Masquerade”. It was a very popular television series where he played the role of Chief Zebrudaya between 1983 to 1993.

The programme did not only receive wide acceptance from the Nigerian populace, it shot Chika to fame and recognition globally as the programme was aired in virtually all radio and television stations across Nigeria.
