Gbenga Adeyinka, self acclaimed Comedian of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CFR) and now rebranded as Grand Comedian of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (GCFR) is a multiple award winner, actor, comedian, radio and television presenter, master of ceremony and a brilliant Script writer.

He was born on the 7th of May 1968 in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He hails from Ogun state in south western Nigeria.

Educational Background

Gbenga Adeyinka had his primary and secondary education in Abeokuta where he obtained his first and secondary school certificates respectively.

He later went to the University of Lagos to have Bachelor’s degree in English Language. Upon graduation, he worked briefly in his Uncle’s Engineering company in Lagos.

Gbenga was shot to fame and recognition in the entertainment industry in Nigeria in his popular Star promo “Shine Bobo”. He is very vocal, and has anchored various radio and television programmes on communications giants like AIT, Africa Magic on DSTV, Galaxy and others.
