Afeez Owo, has his real name as Afeez Abiodun. He is a popular Yoruba actor, movie producer and director known for Iseyin distinct Yoruba conversation in movies.

Afeez was born on the 12th of April, the year of his birth not known and he is the husband of another renowned actress Mide Martins, the daughter of a famous Nollywood actress Funmi Martins who died after a brief illness on the 6th of April, 2002.

Afeez was nicknamed Owo, a name he earned because of his close relationship with Yemi Ayebo, which literally means close friend or close pal. He is from Iseyin, Oyo State in south western Nigeria.

Educational Background

Afeez had his primary and secondary education at St. Paul Anglican School, Idiroko, Ogun state and Faramora Secondary School in Oyo State respectively. He however relocated to Lagos for greener pasture in the mid 80s.
