Niyi Johnson is a popular Nollywood actor known for Yoruba movies.

He was born on February 27, 1978 and raised in Ikotun area of Lagos state. He revealed that his journey through life has not been easy one though his parents ensured that he had the best in life.

Educational Background

Johnson studied Mass Communication at Ibadan Polytechnics and went further to the University of Lagos to have a Bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations.

His Acting Career

Niyi Johnson began his acting dated back to his early days in his local Church as a stage drama. He eventually rose to perform TV dramas and Soap Operas.

He indicated interest in acting professionally after series of applications and finally had a breakthrough when he met Mr. Ray Austin at Remi Star Blue where he was trained as an actor.

The versatile young man also learned makeup, costume, production, directing and management along the line.

He had series of auditions in Lagos and was picked for a role in Tinsel and featured in Cynthia Okon, produced by Fuaad Bankole.

Niyi Johnson got married to a Nollywood producer, Seyi Edun which of course happened to be his second marriage.

Niyi was said to have married one Toyin Aimakhu in 2013, but got separated in 2015 as a result of their irreconcilable differences, with one accusing the other of one wrong or the other.
