Ogechi Shirley Igwe is her real full name but fondly called Shirley Igwe. She is a popular Nollywood Actress, model and producer.
She was born on April 2, 1987. Shirley hails from Imo State in south eastern Nigeria.
Oge Shirley Igwe is a product of Federal Government Girls College. She later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Imo State University.
Shirley Igwe began her career as a model before venturing into full time acting and movie producing.

Her Humanitarian Work
Shirley Igwe set up a foundation, a non-governmental foundation designed to fight the scourge of diabetes, especially the vulnerable who cannot afford the treatment of the deadly disease.
In October 2013, Shirley Igwe was appointed Principal Protocol Officer by the former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, a post she held for about two years before going back to her acting profession.
There was a rumour peddling around then that the Nollywood superstar was dating the Governor which she denied, saying she was only a protocol officer and nothing more. In her words,
“That is not true. I worked as his protocol officer and that made us quite close. Apart from handling his guests, I handled every other aspect of his itinerary. I was at every meeting and convention with him, so it is very common and I would not be surprised if they linked us together. If they see a pretty lady everywhere with someone, people would easily jump into conclusion that they are dating.” She told Punch.
Her Personal Life
Shirley Igwe is not yet married. She revealed that she is not under pressure to get married, saying marriage is not something to rush into, but believes it will come at the right time.
According to her, “….take your time to choose your man and make sure that you are doing great for yourself.” Shirley however said her ideal man should be God-fearing, financially stable and loving.
