Biography & Career Of Gloria Bamiloye

Gloria Olusola Bamiloye is a Nigerian dramatist, film actress, producer and director. She is a co-founder of Mount Zion Drama Minister and the wife of the popular gospel filmmaker, Mike Bamiloye.

She was born into a Muslim family on the 4th of February 1960, in Ilesha, Osun State. Gloria later became a Christian after the conversion of her elder brother into Christianity. She lost her dad at an early age and was raised by her mother.

Educational Background

Gloria Bamiloye had her primary and secondary education in Ilesha, Osun State, Nigeria. She went further to Oyo State College of Education, Ilesha, where she studied English Language and Religious studies.

Gloria Bamiloye also attended the Divisional Teachers Training College, Ipetumodu where she was trained as a school teacher.

Her Acting Career

Gloria Bamiloye’s interest in acting grew while in her tertiary institution and she joined her fellowship drama ministry and started acting stage plays.

She co-founded Zion Drama Ministry on August 5, 1985 with her husband and popular gospel filmmaker, Mike Bamiloye. She has featured and directed several Nigerian films and drama. Today, Mount Zion Drama Ministry is widely known to be the pioneer of Christian movies in Nigeria.

She has been happily married to Mike Bamiloye, the President of the Mount Zion Drama Ministry and they are blessed with three children named Damilola, Joshua and Gift Bamiloye.
