Lawal Aishat Oladunni is her real name, but widely known as Aisha Lawal. She is a popular award-winning Nollywood Yoruba actress, movie producer, director, Master of Ceremonies, interior decorator and event planner.

She was born on May 31st, the year of her birth not known into the family of three children. Aisha is the second child. Her mother a secondary school principal and father is late now.

Educational Background

Aisha had her primary and secondary education at Aden International School and Federal Girls College, Ogbomosho where she obtained her first and secondary school certificates respectively.

She did her A/L in Ilorin, Kwara State and later bagged a degree in Law from Lead City University, Ibadan and Master’s degree in Public Administration.

Her Acting Career

Aisha began her acting career as a stage performer through the help of a veteran actor and director, Femi Adebayo’s Theatre Training School, J15 school of Performing Arts.

She kick-started acting professionally in 2010 and acted her first movie “Adun Makete” where she played the role of a prostitute in 2008. Other notably movies are Onikan Mesan, Irugbin, Fifehanmi and many others.

She is also a producer and successfully produced her first movie “Ami Agbara”, (Sign of Power) in 2011. Other movies produced by Aisha include Awon Iwawo (Shadow) and a hit movie “Irugbin” in December, 2012, a movie that shot her to fame and recognition in Yoruba movie industry and earned her several awards.
