Quinto's career as an actor began when he was very young, participating in high school musicals and the like before attending Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama. Quinto made his TV debut on the series The Others, which he followed up with guest appearances on TV shows such as Touched By An Angel, Six Feet Under, and Lizzie McGuire. In 2003, he landed his first recurring role, that of technology expert Adam on the hit FOX action series 24. Three years later, in 2006, Quinto was cast in what has become his signature role, that of the super powered serial killer Sylar on the NBC drama Heroes.
