Foluke Daramola Salako is a Nigerian actress, movie director and producer born on February 15, 1978.

Foluke was born to a family from Ekiti State, South western part of Nigeria.

She obtained a bachelors degree in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University , Ile Ife, Osun State.

Career

Foluke Daramola joined the Nigeria movie industry in 1998 with her debut in the TV series “Palace”.

She’s well known for her roles in movies such as; Above Love, Durodola, Official Romance, Cobweb and so on.

Foluke founded the non-governmental organization “Action Against Rape in Africa”, which was established to deal with rape cases in Africa.

Personal Life

Foluke Daramola got married to Tunde Sobowale in 2005 before they parted ways in 2008.

She then re-married in 2013 to Kayode Salako and their union is blessed with two children.

Awards & Nominations

Daramola was nominated for Best Supporting actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2013.
