Rudeboy Paul Okoye Biography

Rudeboy, also called King Rudy, is originally named Paul Okoye. He was born on November 18, 1981, in Jos, Plateau State. He completed his primary school alongside his twin brother, in Jos and obtained his first school leaving certificate.

After completing his primary school education, Paul alongside his brother Peter proceed to St. Murumba secondary school, a small Catholic school in Jos, Plateau State Nigeria, where he obtained his West African Senior Secondary School Certificate. While they where in school, Peter and Paul joined their school music and drama club where they began singing, dancing, and mimicking songs by MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson.

Alongside with his twin brother, Peter Okoye. A.K.A Mr P, they released several albums that took the name “P.Square” across Africa. The former duo who is now disbanded also featured international artists like TI, Akon, Rick Ross, and Dave Scott. As regards awards, P Square can boast of a shelf full of Headies, MTV Music Awards, Channel O Music Video Awards amongst others, but separately, not so much awards have been recorded.

From Last Nite, Get Squared, to Invasion, their music career skyrocketed, It was until recently that they both split after some internal family issues and divided their properties among themselves which led to the dissolution of P-square to the abasement of their fans in 2016.
