"I am nigga"- Nigerian international footballer suffers racist abuse in sports video

Austrian born, Nigerian Bayern Munich star David Olatokunbo Alaba has been subjected to severe racist abuse by Internet trolls after appearing in a TV advert.

The 24-year-old, whose father, George is prince from Ogere, Ogun State is the face of Austrian furniture store Kika, and recently appeared at the end of their latest advert saying "I'm a Kika" - a play on words with kicker.

However, cyber bullies and racists created a parody of the advert and replaced the word Kika with nigga. This also included changing all the other actors' words as well as the company's logo.

The video has been taken down from the website it was originally uploaded to, and local reports have said that Kika wrote an official comment on the site, too.

Social media in Austria and Germany has been in uproar over the video, with many stating their disgust over the video.

David Alaba has not yet commented on the scandal, Mirror reports.
