She is a pastor, teacher, and a role model to millions of Christian women worldwide. She has in her own  way managed to help her husband develop his ministry. Her contributed efforts in the works of God has made her do what seems impossible for a woman. She is currently the Vice President (Education) of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and the Vice Chancellor of Convenant University.

Faith Oyedepo Biography

Faith Oyedepo was born on the 5th of February, 1958, into Akano’s family. Before her marriage in 1982, she was initially known as Miss. Florence Abiola Akano before her marriage.

Education

She completed her formal primary and secondary education. She later proceeded to University of Ile-Ife to study. After her graduation, she chose to be a minister of God

Ministry

She is the wife of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a. Winners’ Chapel, and Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Nigeria. She joined the ministry after her graduation from University.

The mandate that culminated into this ministry was received in 1981. She has a ministry to families and homes, which she has dedicated her life to, by showing people the perfect will of God for their homes and relationships. She also has a divine call to make her shoulders available, and enrich the lives of singles in a unique way.

She propragates the Good News of Jesus Christ along with her husband, in numerous nations of the world, with a mission to liberate the oppressed.

She is endeared to many all over the world, especially for her endless work in strengthening the family unit. She has written several books, and maximized various avenues of communication, such as media outlets, to become an authority in the area of family, youth, and women empowerment, as well as marital success.

Achievements

Mrs Oyedepo is poised to improving the standards of education in her country. She is currently the Chancellor of Covenant University. Together with her husband, they have achieved great in education by building quality colleges and universities. Some of her strides in education include:

Foundation

She is one of the facilitator of the foundation founded by her husband, Bishop Oyedepo. The foundation is a charity organization poised towards allievating the woes of the less privileged in Africa.

The foundation is also involved in the award of scholarships and grants to the less privileged and indigent who have expressed willingness to further their education.

Their two universities, Covenant and Landmark takes care of this part of her philantropism.

Personal life

While she was still in University of Ife while her husband was still a student in Kwara polytechnic, they met at a motor park, and started a strong relationship.

She  got married to Pastor David Oyedepo in 1982. They are blessed with four children; David Jr, Isaac, Love and Joyce. David Jr and Isaac Oyedepo were ordained as Pastors in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland.

Lifestyle

With her life as a practical example, she has been able to portray a model lifestyle for others to replicate. She has demonstrated in practical terms and through deep spiritual insight, that the home can truly be the Eden that God created it to be.

Challenges

She faced a big challenge in the aspect of her health. Her passion was further strengthened when her health was challenged, and she was supernaturally delivered from death. It renewed her zeal and hunger to impact her world. Today, she is back, preaching God’s Word with a renewed sense of urgency and passion. This experience has been captured in her most exciting book, Rescued from Destruction.

Her net worth jointly with her husband, Bishop David Oyedepo who is the wealthiest preacher in Nigeria, according to Forbes magazine is over $150 million.

Their ministry owns four private jets and several buildings around the world, including London and the United States which they use in the work of God.
