Charles Inojie is a popular Nigerian funny actor, producer, director, comedian, television personality and a rare philanthropist.
He was born on the 4th of March 1970 in Urowa, a community very close to Emu in Edo State in south southern Nigeria. He was bred up by his grandmother, a woman he described as “Sweet and Precious Mother”.
Charles Inojie had his primary and secondary education in Edo State. After obtaining the usual first and secondary school certificates respectively, he made a career in acting by joining the Dramatic and Theatre Clubs in his own town.
Bent on achieving success in his planned acting profession, he again enrolled for a one year acting programme in Bode Osoyin’s Writer Resort. He obtained a certificate course in Dramatic Arts after a successful completion of the programme in 1993.
He later went to the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State Nigeria where he bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic and Theatre Arts in 1999.

Charles kick-started his professional acting in 1999, after joining the Nigerian Movie Industry as an assistant movie director. He is skillful and talented in acting with high sense of humour to make people laugh and forget their sorrow. He is reputed in acting in most Nollywood comedy movies.
Charles is prolific actor, highly resourceful with over 200 movies to his credit since joining Nollywood in 1999. Some of his movies are The Master, Nollywood Hustlers, Caught in the Act, Money For Hand, Husband My Foot, Peter and Paul, Open and Close, Keke Soldiers, Native Fowl, Police Recruit among others.
Charles Inojie is a comic actor, known in a popular television comedy series “The Johnsons”. He features alongside to Nollywood stars like Chinedu Ikedieze, Osita Iheme, Nkem Owoh and others.
