Damola Olatunji is a popular Nollywood actor and movie producer known for Yoruba movies.

He was born on February 2, the year of his birth not known in Edo Agbo in Osun State. He is the second child in a family of six children. He was raised by his mother, Ajibola Anike, a strict disciplinarian as his father was always up and doing.

Educational Background

Damola had his primary and secondary education in his home town, Edo Agbo in Osun state respectively.

He later studied Electrical Engineering at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.

His Acting Career

Damola began acting dated back to his early days as a member of drama group in his local Church when he used to perform stage plays.

He started acting professionally when a veteran actor and producer Yomi Fash Lanso brought him to the movie scene and was given a role in a moive “Ojo” (Rain), produced by Opeyemi Aiyeola and directed by Yomi Fash Lanso.

It is revealed that Damola married one Raliate Abiodun Olatunji based in the UK which lasted just one year before he met the current wife, Bukola during one of their movie shooting.

The revelation was that the distance or what people would call “love across the Niger” that existed between Damola and his ex-wife actually caused this break in their marriage which gave Bukola the advantage to dethrone the now former wife of Damola. It was also gathered that all efforts by Raliate Abiodun to revive the marriage proved abortive.
