Mary Lazarus is a popular Nigerian actress, movie producer and a model.
She was born on the 17th of May, 1986 into a family of six children of which she is a twin and one of the last born children of the family in Abia State in south eastern Nigeria. Lazarus is originally from Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State.
Lazarus had her both primary and secondary education in her home town where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate and the West African Senior School Certificate respectively.
She later proceeded to the University of Ibadan to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography.

Lazarus began her career as a model in 2002 before joining the Nigerian Movie Industry in 2009. She acted her first movie “Waiting Years”, a movie she got a role through the help of Gbenro Ajibade who then introduced Lazarus to a movie director.
