Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, commonly known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho or simply Ronaldinho , is a Brazilian former professional footballer and ambassador for Barcelona. He played mostly as an attacking midfielder, but was also deployed as a forward or a winger.

Ronaldinho was born Ronaldo de Assis Moreira in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Ronaldinho was an attacking midfielder and forward who spent his youth career with Gremio. He had great athletic skills who has the ability to score goals in bunches. He wore the number 10 on his uniform and in 1997, while only 17, made the Brazil 1st team. At the time, he was considered "Brazil's best young hope." He played for Gremio's senior team from 1998 to 2001 scoring 21 goals in 52 appearances. Ronaldinho played for Paris Saint-Germain from 2001 to 2003 where he scored 17 goals in 55 caps. He played for Barcelona from 2003 to 2008 and scored 70 goals in 145 games. Ronaldinho played for Milan from 2008 to 2011 and scored 20 goals in 76 appearances. He played for Flamengo from 2011 to 2012, scoring 15 goals in 33 caps. Ronaldinho played for Atletico Mineiro from 2012 to 2014 where he scored 16 goals in 48 games. He played for Queretaro from 2014 to 2015 and finished with Fluminense in 2015. He won the Ballon d'Or in 2005 and is known for his exceptional dribbling and free-kick abilities.
