Harry Styles has debunked rumors that he met with film bosses to take over the role of James Bond after Daniel Craig retires. Styles has become the breakout member of the boyband One Direction, forging a successful solo career after the group's dissolution. Since then, he dipped his toes in the acting pool. Styles had a supporting role in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk. He has lined up a formidable post-Dunkirk lineup of acting projects.

He is also is in negotiations to star in a romantic drama based on the novel My Policeman. His name has been swirling around the Bond role for quite some time as the end of Craig's tenure approaches with No Time to Die, not set to be released Easter weekend of 2021.
