Maxim Choupo-Moting, who was free after leaving PSG, has signed for Bayern Munich until June 2021.
The 31-year-old forward, who had a secondary role in the French capital, will play a similar role in Germany, where he will give alternatives to Hansi Flick.
The forward signs for the club on a free for a season after leaving PSG, where he played second fiddle to Neymar, Mbappé, and co. He has signed a contract in the Bundesliga until 2021.
The most likely thing is that he is an alternative for Hansi Flick in attack. Lewandowski and Müller are immovable and he will play a key role in making rotations. The Bavarian’s style, of high pressing and sacrifice, makes the legs wear out nicely.
“It’s a great feeling to be back in the Bundesliga, and more so at Germany’s biggest club. Who wouldn’t want to play for Bayern? It’s an honour to play for this club. At Bayern, the goal is always to win everything and I’m very motivated to achieve those goals”, the player affirmed to the club’s media.
Obviously, this move for him is a return home. He was born in Hamburg and he started his career at his hometown club. He also played for Nürnberg, Mainz 05, and Schalke 04.
