Matthew Miazga is once again on loan from Chelsea, where he has only played two matches since 2015.
After his last spell at Reading, the 25-year-old American centre-back will go on loan this season to Belgian club Anderlecht, who will not have an option to buy him.
On Sunday, Anderlecht announced the arrival of 25-year-old centre-back Matthew Miazga, who is on loan from Chelsea for the current season.
The Belgians will not have an option to buy the Polish-born American, who spent the last season and a half on loan at Reading in the Championship and still has a contract with Chelsea until 2022.
Miazga is one of the many footballers who pass through Chelsea’s ‘factory’ but go from one team on loan to another. The centre-back arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2015 from New York Red Bulls, but only played two matches at Chelsea.
During the last few seasons, he has played for Vitesse, Nantes and Reading. He now arrives at Anderlecht, who will not be in the Europa League this season after a disappointing eighth place in the Belgian league.
