160 new cases of Coronavirus recorded in Nigeria

160 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday October 3, as confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). 

A breakdown of the new cases is as follows; Rivers-42, Lagos-32, Plateau-21, FCT-18, Kaduna-14, Ogun-11, Katsina-10, Kwara-3, Ondo-3, Imo-3, Anambra-1, Abia-1, Oyo-1. 

There are now 59,287 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country and 1, 113 deaths have been recorded. 50,718 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.
