Damilola Adegbite is a Nigerian actress, Model, and Television personality. She played Thelema Duke in the soap opera Tinsel, and Kemi Williams in the movie Flower Girl. She won Best Actress in a TV Series at the 2011 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Damilola Adegbite Background
Oluwadamilola Adegbite was born in Surulere, Lagos on May 18, 1985. Her Mum was a teacher and her father, a civil servant. She was born into a family of four. For her secondary education, she attended Queen’s College, Yaba. Subsequently, she proceeded to Bowen University, Osun state, and bagged a degree in Business Administration.
While in Queen’s College Yaba, Adegbite served as the Vice President of the school dramatic society between 2001 and 2002. Also, from teen age, she was part of her church drama group.
Personal Life
Dami has a son, Brian and was married to Chris Attoh.
Chris Attoh is also an actor, whom she met on the set of Tinsel in 2008.
Damilola Adegbite Early Career
Adegbite’s career began shortly after she wrote her final exams at the university. Her aunt (Ethel Ekpe) informed her about an audition and she decided to give it a shot. Luckily, she was selected and given the role of Telema Duke in Tinsel – Mnet’s first multi-camera production.
Thereafter, she worked as a red carpet host and program anchor for Sound City Television from 2008 – 2010. While she was there, she interviewed celebrities on the red carpet at high profile events. She also anchored The Chatroom and Global Countdown.
In addition, she has worked with several brands such as Nestle. She even played a lead role in a Television commercial for Brilliance Motors in 2009.

Adegbite is a screen goddess and have starred in stage plays such as The Vagina Monologues, Iya Ile and Wedding Blues. Also, she featured in Before 30 Tv series (2015 – Present).
