Manchester United May Reportedly Move For Watford Attacker Ismaila Sarr

Manchester United may reportedly move for Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr should they fail to make a breakthrough for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils have spent all summer trying to agree a deal for Sancho, despite BVB making clear that they are no longer interested in selling the England international.

United are believed to be planning one last move for Sancho, but their £90m valuation is still some way off the £108m Dortmund are after.

According to the Daily Mail, alternative plans are now in place as United do not want to end the window without a new player to operate out wide.

Sarr is said to have been identified by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a good back-up option after catching the eye in the Premier League with relegated Watford last season.

The 22-year-old, who directly contributed to nine goals in 28 appearances in 2019-20, was also touted as a target for Liverpool before they moved for Diogo Jota.
