Laycon has emerged the winner of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, season 5 tagged ‘Lockdown’. He carted home a total of N85million, including N30million cash prize, 2 bedroom apartment, a trip to Dubai for two, a trip to Dublin, among other prizes.

Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which 12 to 21 contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize.

The fifth season of Big Brother Naija premiered on 19 July 2020 with 20 housemates and will last 71 days. And the lucky winner will be going home with 85 million naira.

Out of the 20 selected housemates this season, 19 were evicted and Olamilekan ‘Laycon’ Agbeleshe was crowned the winner of the Big Brother Naija season 5 reality show. He received ₦85 million worth of prizes.

But winning the show is not the issue. The problem is utilizing the moment, money and fame properly or is he gonna go into oblivion just like former winners did?

Past winners such as Katung Aduwak, Efe, Mercy and Miracle. These guys are currently nowhere to be found after their victory and few months fame.
