JUST IN!!! Kwara Police Detains Cops For Unprofessional Conduct

The Kwara State Police Command has arrested and detained some police officers who harassed two young men in a viral video, around the Geri-alimi area of Ilorin the State capital.

The Police officers are currently undergoing departmental trial, a press statement by the spokesman of the command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, disclosed in Ilorin on Thursday.

“The victims of this despicable act are encouraged to come to the state Criminal Investigation Department, police headquarters in Ilorin, to give evidence to enable diligent trial,”

The statement added.

The state Commissioner of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, also appealed to members of the public to always report unprofessional conduct of police officers to his office.
