Karim Benzema has been very successful in his most recent visits to the Benito Villamarín stadium. The Frenchman has scored in five of the last six away matches against Betis in the league.
The streak began in the 2013-14 campaign when Real Madrid won 0-5 and Benzema scored the third goal. The next visit took place in the La Liga of 2015-16 and the striker scored the team’s goal in that match. One season later, he extended his scoring streak by scoring the second goal in the 1-6 win.
In the 2017-18 League, Benzema sealed Madrid’s victory of 3-5. And he scored again in the last away match, corresponding to the 27th round of the last League.
In addition to these five goals at Villamarín, he scored another three at home against the Andalusian team. Only Puskás (12) and Santillana (11) have scored more goals than Benzema against Betis in the league.
