Kogi Govt Declares Two-Day State Mourning For Victims Of Tanker Explosion

Kogi State Government has declared a two-day state mourning in honour of the victims of the Felele tanker explosion in Lokoja that claimed over 40 lives on Wednesday.

This was announced in a press statement signed by the Commissioner of Information, Kingsley Fanwo and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.

The statement expressed that Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration is saddened by the unfortunate incident that claimed many lives in the early hours of Wednesday.

Mr Fanwo urged the people of the State to be deep in sober reflection and stand together for one another to pull out of the agonizing loss.
