Inter Milan Are Keen To Sign Marcos Alonso And N’Golo Kante From Chelsea

Alonso started both of the Blues’ first two Premier League matches but could still leave this summer after Frank Lampard drafted in Ben Chilwell who is currently injured in late August.

The Spaniard was linked with a move to Inter Milan at the beginning of August with the left-back apparently holding talks.

Ten days ago, Kante was linked with a move to Manchester United, who were understood to be preparing a ‘shock move’ for the France international.

Frank Lampard would reportedly rather see Jorginho sold, but the report claimed that the club would be willing to accept offers in the region of £55m for Kante.

And now Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness) claims that both Alonso and his Chelsea team-mate Kante are ‘objectives’ in the transfer market for Inter Milan and their boss Antonio Conte.

The Chelsea duo are ‘more or less complicated’ targets for Inter with Alonso seen as a ‘more expensive’ option to Emerson Palmeiri, who also gets a mention in the report.

For Inter Milan to complete the ‘great dream’ of adding Kante to their midfield it would set them back €50m plus add-ons, which would mean Christian Eriksen or Marcel Brozovic would have to be sold to fund such a move.
