Sola Allyson-Obaniyi, popularly known as Shola Allyson or Sola Allyson , is a Nigerian soul, folk and gospel singer and song-writer. She came into limelight with the hit album Eji Owuro, which was the soundtrack album for a film of the same title.

Olusola Allyson Obaniyi (Sola Allyson) was born on 24th September at Ikorodu, Lagos State where she was brought up, she’s a top Nigerian Gospel Singer, a song writer and as well a voice coach.
Education
Shola Allyson enrolled at Anglican Primary School, Ikorodu for her primary school education, Shams-el-deen Grammar School, Ikorodu for her secondary school education,
She furthered by studying Business studies at Government Technical College, Agidingbi, Ikeja, to obtain her NBTE certificate.
And also obtained her Higher National Diploma (HND) in Music Technology at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Voice as major and Music as minor.
Career
Shola Allyson has been into music from her early stage of life, she started backing-up singers while she was at the age of 13, she then got the opportunity to work as backup singers for professional musicians as at then, she had backed up for Gbenga Adeboye, Yinka Ayefele, Daddy Showkey, Pasuma and Obesere. She also did jingles, signature tunes, and adverts for radio and TV stations.
Shola Allyson got launched fully into the music industry when she released her first Album ‘Eji Owuro’, the album release was as a result of a conversation she got into in a public transport;
She met a man in a public bus, the man initiated a productive conversation with her, telling her about a film shoot he just concluded tittled ‘Orekelewa’, he then request she made a sound track for the movie, which she does successfully
Shola make a creative move of trying out the piece in a studio, which finally return to be a huge success and had lead to what she was today.
