See What Gareth Bale Said About Mourinho After Returning To Tottenham

Gareth Bale has spoken about Jose Mourinho’s role in convincing him to return to Tottenham.

Bale on Saturday, completed a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid, seven years after leaving north London.

Mourinho had tried to sign the 31-year-old when he was at the Santiago Bernabeu and also when he was Manchester United boss.

He will now have the chance to work with Bale at Spurs.

Balr told BT Sport:

“He’s spoken to me about a few positions that he would like me to play and obviously I’m happy with that.

“He was a big reason for me coming back here, he’s a household name and a winner. He’s the perfect fit for Tottenham. We need to win trophies and he knows how to do that better than anyone.”
