While Isco completed the training session with the rest of the group, Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, Éder Militao, Lucas Vázquez and Mariano Díaz are out of the league opener with Real Sociedad.
Isco Alarcon returned to group training for Real Madrid final training session at the club’s training complex before their league opener at the Reale Arena against Real Sociedad. He has recovered from his ankle sprain, but Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, Militao, Lucas Vázquez and Mariano Díaz will miss the match.
Just over 24 hours before Real Madrid’s first La Liga game of the 2020-21 season, Zinedine Zidane gets back an Isco Alarcon who is short of match fitness. He has been out for two weeks with a sprained ankle which he sustained in the first few days of pre-season training.
Isco’s return to group training was the piece of good news for Real Madrid. On Saturday morning, they trained without Gareth Bale who is in London sorting out his loan move to Tottenham and without Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, Militao, Lucas Vázquez and Mariano Díaz.
Militao suffered a muscle problem in Real Madrid’s training game against Getafe and he will miss the trip to San Sebastian. He stayed indoors with the physios doing specific recovery work.
Hazard, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez did individual training on the pitch while Mariano is still out after being operated after getting tonsilitis. Martin Odegaard ended the week training normally and he is fit to face his former club Real Sociedad while Luka Jovic has also got over an injury and is available for selection.
