Bella Shmurda is a fast-rising Nigerian musician born in Lagos on 27th January 1997. The young artist is 23 years old as of 2020 and he is already achieving feats in the music industry.

Early Life

Bella Shmurda was born on 27 January 1997 in Lagos to Nigerian parents. His real name is Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed and he is 23 years old as of 2020. He grew up in Lagos State, a coastal state in Nigeria where he had most of his education. In 2016, He proceeded to Lagos State University (LASU) where he is reading History and International Studies, he is currently in his final year as of 2020. He is close friends with Poco Lee, a dancer best known for his Zanku moves.

Career

Bella is a fast-growing musician and a songwriter. He came into the limelight after he did an EP album which featured Olamide in a remix of one of the tracks, “Vision 2020”. He initially released “Vision” in 2018, but did the remix of the track to feature Olamide, the remix was produced by ID Cabasa of Coded Tunes Records. Before his rise to fame, he was delivering freestyles and song covers. His music career is on a promising start as he is already signed into OneWord Global Records and has strong ties with YBNL boss, Olamide. When his contract with OneWord Global Records expires, YBNL could be the next music label for Bella who is rated an A-list artist.

Bella Shmurda Projects

His first EP album project titled High Tension, which was published in 2020 was a huge success in music streaming platforms. The album currently has more than 10 million streams on all streaming platforms and more than 5 million streams in Audiomack alone.
