Edo 2020: Vote For Obaseki To End Godfatherism – Wike

As political parties round up their campaigns ahead of the Saturday Governorship election, Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has urged the people of Edo State to vote for Governor Godwin Obaseki to end godfatherism in the state.

Wike made the admonition yesterday at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, while ending PDP’s campaigns with a mega rally.

Wike claimed that Obaseki had done his best in going round the 192 wards of Edo State to solicit the votes of residents.

The Rivers Governor went further to point out that the large number of persons that attended the rally was an attestation that the Edo governor had done what he needed to do.

Speaking further, Wike urged the electorate to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to announce the election result in favour of Governor Obaseki.
