Gareth Bale Finally Agreed To Leave Real Madrid, But There Are Certain Issues To Solve

At long last, Gareth Bale seems to have accepted the truth: he will not have any role at Real Madrid as long as Zinedine Zidane is in charge.

Hence, the Welshman has seemingly agreed terms to leave the current La Liga champions, but he has named a list of demands to make that move.

According to The Times, Bale has told Real Madrid’s hierarchy that he will accept a loan deal to a Premier League club if any of those sides comes knocking on his door. The only request by Bale is simple: he still wants to collect the same wages as he does at Real Madrid, which go up to $17M per year.

While it seems highly unlikely to see any team paying a loanee $17M, Real Madrid has reportedly agreed to pay a portion of Bale’s mammoth salary to facilitate his exit. With that in mind, the alternative on Bale’s horizon is none other than joining Manchester United.

The Red Devils have struggled to sign Jadon Sancho, since Borussia Dortmund is not willing to go down from the $108M price tag they have slapped on the English international. Hence, the option to hire Bale on loan works out fine for all parties involved.

All they have to do is find an equation that fits Bale, the English club, and Real Madrid, who have finally admitted that they will have to pay at least half of Bale’s wages to see him leave.

But even if the deal between Bale and Man United is in the works, a late option has emerged for the Welshman, and that is none other than a return to his beloved Tottenham Hotspur. As per reports by ESPN, José Mourinho has twisted Daniel Levy’s arm to hire the player on loan, but with a suitable buyout clause to have him around if his arrival ends up becoming a success.

Bale would favor such a move due to his previous links to Tottenham, but even as tempting as Manchester United’s offer may seem, only time will tell where he will end up, as the monetary factor will play a key role in his decision.
