Tottenham Have Moved Ahead Of United In The Race For Bale

This could be the summer of Gareth Bale’s goodbye from Real Madrid. Manchester United seemed to be the most likely destination of the Welshman, although ‘ESPN’ assured on Tuesday that José Mourinho’s Tottenham have moved ahead of the Red Devils.

Tottenham have made a move to sign Gareth Bale. So much so that, according to ‘ESPN’, the London club have moved ahead of a Manchester United who in the last few hours seemed to be the only possible destination of the Welshman.

José Mourinho has asked Daniel Levy for reinforcements for attack where injuries highlighted the lack of team rotation last season, and the manager thinks that he can recover the highest level of the Madrid forward.

Bale has reportedly already said “yes” to Manchester United, but the forward doesn’t want to give up a penny. He will only move from Real Madrid with his same salary of 15 million euros net, and what is happening is that the Red Devils are still determined in their great priority.

We are speaking about Jadon Sancho, the Borussia Dortmund attacker who has become an obsession for United. The German club have said that the Englishman isn’t moving this summer, but the English side continue waiting for him.

Amidst that indecision, the aforementioned source assures that Tottenham seem to have moved ahead of Manchester United in the race for the player, although the financial aspect continues to be capital.

The demands of the player are clear, while Madrid, according to ‘ESPN’, would consider a transfer of some 19 million euros for the player. If they loan him out, it would only be if the other club takes on the player’s full wage.
