Two kidnappers nabbed in Rivers state, victim’s decomposing corpse recovered

The Rivers State Police Command have arrested two notorious kidnappers in a sting operation carried out on Tuesday July 14.

The decomposing corpse of their victim who a N1m ransom was paid for after being kidnapped on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Woji, Port Harcourt, was recovered by operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the state police command. A vehicle belonging to victim identified as Ereba Dinabari was also recovered.

Rivers police spokesperson, Nnamdi Omoni said the suspects Osundu Uchendu, 25, and Amebulem Amos, 23 have confessed to the crime. They also reportedly confessed to carrying out a series of kidnappings within the state.
