SO SAD!! Bayero University Professor, Haruna Wakili Is Dead

Professor Haruna Wakili, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Administration) of Bayero University, Kano state is dead.

Sources learned that Wakili was also former Director, Aminu Kano Centre for Democratic Research and Training (Mambayya House) and Commissioner for Education in Jigawa.

Speaking on the death, Former Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido expressed sadness at the development. Below is a statement signed by his media adviser, Mansur Ahmed:-

Confirming the incident, University Registrar, Hajia Fatima Binta Muhammad, revealed that the varsity don died early on Saturday at National Hospital Abuja after a protracted illness.
