Kano Govt Confirms One COVID-19 Death, Announces Discharge Of 41 Patients
The Kano State Government has announced that one coronavirus death has been recorded in the State.
The State’s Ministry of Health disclosed this in a tweet via its Twitter account on Thursday.
The Ministry also announced that 41 additional patients have been discharged following full recovery from the virus.
According to the Ministry, ten new cases of the disease were also recorded in the State.
The tweet reads
“Update as at 11:47pm 4th May 2020.
“135 samples of COVID19 were tested today in Kano.
“10 new cases of COVID19 in Kano confirmed.
“41 additional COVID19Kano patients were discharged.
“Sadly, 1 COVID19Kano death was also recorded today.
“Residents are advised to stay safe and always mask up.”
