Coronavirus: Makinde Confirms Four New Cases In Oyo

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on Friday confirmed four (4) new cases of coronavirus in the State.

Makinde, who doubles as Chairman of the COVID-19 task force committee in the State, made this announcement in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle.

We gathered that with the confirmation of the four new cases, Oyo State now has 59 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Makinde while speaking said,

“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for four suspected cases came back positive.

“So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is fifty-nine.

“Please call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000 | 08095863000 | 08078288999 | 08078288800, if you find travellers from other States arriving in your community”.
