Revealed: Here’s Why Davido Attacked Mercy Johnson And Husband

A few days ago a viral photo of Mercy Johnson being delivered of her 4th child storm social media and almost all Nigerian and Ghanaian celebrities floded her page to congratulate her

However, Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Okojie came out to issue a disclaimer saying her wife is yet to give birth. Prior to that, a little drama occurred while the said photo was still going viral.

As several celebrities started sending congratulatory messages to the couple, Davido vented his anger at them by calling them wicked people after which he congratulated them. This caused a massive uproar on social media as many wondered Davido went to that extent.

An investigation conducted by Source Juke Box has revealed the reason for Davido’s outburst. According to the narrative, Davido had collected an amount of N3 million to perform at the opening ceremony of Prince Odi’s Henod Luxury Hotel, but went on a tour of America.

This got Prince Of furious because Davido couldn’t fulfil his part of the deal although he took the money. Also, efforts to reach Davido and his management failed which made Prince Odi drag the singer to court for breaching the contract.

The issue was however resolved out of court with Prince Odi getting a refund. The bad blood from the deal was what led to Davido’s reaction on social media.
