Mikel Arteta is desperate not to loose his priced striker for free , Aubameyang is about to enter the final year of his contract at Arsenal and has refused all the clubs efforts to extend his contract .

Now the Gunners are ready to lose him for half of what they paid for him ,with the Coronavirus slashing funds in the transfer market .

With the threat of a fourth successive season without Champion league football looming .Arsenal have already agreed a 12.5 percent pay cut with most of their players to tide with them through the global crisis.
