Don Jazzy and Teni plead with Nigerians to take precautions as coronavirus cases reach 134,000 across 120 countries
Following the fast rate at which the novel coronavirus is spreading across borders, Mavin Record boss, Don Jazzy and female R&B singer, Teni have pleaded with Nigerians to be careful and take adequate precautionary measures to keep themselves safe.
Don Jazzy called on Nigerians to be more careful as the number of persons being infected by virus is on a steady rise. He wrote on Twitter: “Guys pls be careful out there. We are getting more coronians by the day. #COVID19.”
Similarly, Teni also reacted by telling Nigerians to be safe: “Pls let’s be safe out there!”
According to reports, as at March 12, 2020 the number of coronavirus cases has hit 130, 000 across 120 countries with over 4900 deaths recorded so far.
The first case which occurred in Wuhan, China was reported in December 2019. However, following the number of cases that have been reported since then, WHO on March 11, declared the outbreak a pandemic.
