Jennifer Lopez passed her Las Vegas residency test with flying colours.
The ‘Booty’ hitmaker, who has been in talks to launch a new series of shows in the city for several months, reportedly impressed Caesars Palace bosses with her ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’ concert on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 because the gig sold out and they are now ready to finalise a deal with her.
A source told TMZ.com that the gig was a trial for the 44-year old beauty, who was paid more than $400,000 for the performance, to see if she was a sufficient draw for a full-on residency.
The venue was extremely pleased even though it only earned $600,000 from the concert, as the concert proved Jennifer has the ability to attract thousands of fans to the area.

The singer is rumoured to have already agreed to $350,000-a-show 72-date residency, but a source previously claimed she was waiting for promoters to sign off on her list of demands, including an all-white dressing room, before she signed the contract.
