Nigerian born UK-based singer, Josephine Ovba otherwise known as Jozie has just signed a 4-year record deal with Lagos-based record label JE Records described by sources as lucrative.
Popularly called the ‘Maga Queen’ for her hit song ‘Maga’ featuring DejHavu, Jozie is a talented singer-songwriter, recording artist, dancer and performer.
Her new deal with the Kunle Oladehin Jagged Edge Records sees her become the second artiste on the label following signing of popular singer, Jahblessat an elaborate unveiling ceremony a few weeks back.
Jozie was born in the UK to parents from Warri, Nigeria and from a young age, Jozie grew up singing in church and leading her youth church choir.
She decided to put music on a back burner and concentrate on her education after a while, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of East London in Business Management and Health Service Management before making a comeback some years ago.

Her new song,‘Choco boi‘ featuring new label mate, Jahbless would be released accompanied with a video before the year runs out.
