The 31-year-old rapper insists she didn’t come up with the concept for ‘Only’ – which has been heavily criticised as ‘glorifying Hitler’ following its release on Saturday, November 8, 2014 and claims it was inspired by a cartoon and Sin City but she takes full responsibility for whatever offence it might have caused anyone.
The ‘Anaconda’ hit maker wrote on Twitter yesterday, November 11:‘The artist who made the lyric video for ‘Only’ was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called ‘Metalocalypse’ & ‘Sin City.
‘Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video (one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish.
‘I didn’t come up w/the concept, but I’m very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I’d never condone Nazism in my art (sic).’
