Nicki Minaj has apologised after being accused of using Nazi imagery in her new music video,‘Only‘and insists she didn’t ‘come up with the concept.’

The 31-year-old rapper insists she didn’t come up with the concept for ‘Only’ – which has been heavily criticised as ‘glorifying Hitler’ following its release on Saturday, November 8, 2014 and claims it was inspired by a cartoon and Sin City but she takes full responsibility for whatever offence it might have caused anyone.

The ‘Anaconda’ hit maker wrote on Twitter yesterday, November 11:‘The artist who made the lyric video for ‘Only’ was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called ‘Metalocalypse’ & ‘Sin City.

‘Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video (one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish.

‘I didn’t come up w/the concept, but I’m very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I’d never condone Nazism in my art (sic).’

Nicki, who recently split from her boyfriend of 14 years Safaree Samuels, has revealed she is now dating the videographer, Alex.
